Kris Matulovich
Director: Technical Projects and Corporate Development
Kris is a qualified Civil Engineer with extensive experience delivering studies, detailed engineering, project execution and commissioning support for mining, mineral processing, water infrastructure and tailings projects across Africa. He has successfully worked on greenfield and brownfield developments, providing practical, value-driven solutions from concept and design through to construction, commissioning and operational support.

Visionary, entrepreneurial and goal orientated, Chris is an individual who thrives on challenges through collaboration and empowering others to be their best. With over 20 years’ experience as a Process Engineer in the Petrochemical and Metallurgical fields, Chris has first-hand experience in various technical and project fields both locally and internationally.

Striving for excellence, with a practical approach and an eye for detail, Gerrie is a well-equipped and solution driven Civil Engineer with agricultural, mining, environmental management experience, with sound operational knowledge of water reticulation and storage systems. Since joining CEMS Consult, Gerrie has shifted his attention to more process orientated projects.
CHARL DU PREEZ
A Mineral Processing and Hydrometallurgy specialist, Charl has 26 years of postgraduate experience in the design and development of process plants for gold, silver, and uranium. Proven track record delivering projects and studies with CAPEX values up to USD 480 million, with international experience
spanning Angola, Armenia, Colombia, DRC, Egypt, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Mali, Guinea, Indonesia, Ivory Coast, Kyrgyzstan, Mozambique, Namibia, Senegal, South Africa, Spain, Sudan, Turkey, and Zambia.
Ernst Vermeulen
Senior Process Engineer

Ernst is a trained Process Engineer with experience working on-site in The Netherlands, South Africa, Mozambique and the Democratic Republic of Congo across a range of chemical, mineral processing and geothermal production facilities. His experience includes plant operations, optimisation and commissioning.

Francois is a Digital Projects Coordinator with CEMS Consult and has 6 years’ experience in the field of visualisation. Using visualisation tools on multi-disciplinary fields to capture, process and create projects in the visual space. A determined, responsible and adaptive individual with a drive to conquer the challenges of projects and in the field with the use of technology.

Deon is a skilled Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer with over 18 years of experience. He aims to contribute to the successful execution of projects by ensuring compliance with industry standards, delivering high-quality designs, implementing cost-effective solutions, and optimising performance to achieve operational excellence.

Elmarie has a dedicated role in managing payroll and individual tax processes, providing essential support during audits. Proficient in Sage Payroll and Sage Accounting, she aims to streamline operations to ensure accuracy and compliance in financial reporting.
