Introduction/Overview:
The Solve:
CEMS Consult leverage on its in-depth knowledge of the asset, both from a process perspective but also in-country knowledge of the operational environment and ore body. Through application of our in-house capabilities, CEMS Consult were able to define the Flowsheet Development and 3D Model layout of the entire plant expansion, providing the client with a Class II Cost Estimate and Execution Schedule. Optimal Design and Equipment Selection allows commonality of Spares and ease of operation.
The application of our specialised services, including Digitisation, Power Modelling for the Comminution Circuit and Hydrometallurgy modelling of the Recovery Circuit, allowed a robust design to be provided, supported by a detailed Equipment List and overall expansion 3D Model.
Close collaboration with local suppliers and service providers allowed a well-defined Execution Schedule to be developed as part of the DFS Close Out Deliverables.
Conclusion:
Through our close collaboration with the client and OEM Suppliers, we were able to provide a unique solution that provided all the flexibility required to incorporate the overall Brownfields Expansion with minimal impact on Production.
An Execution Schedule was developed through detail review sessions to allow a phased approach and incorporation of the new plant, with CAPEX defined to support the financial model requirements as required by the client.
