Introduction/Overview:
CEMS Consult played a vital role in the design and optimization of the Ash Disposal Facility (ADF) for the Sendou Power Station in Senegal. This project addressed both ash management and critical infrastructure improvements within the power station precinct.
The ADF design incorporates efficient ash handling and storage while prioritizing environmental stewardship. In addition to the core ash disposal solutions, the project included the comprehensive re-design of roads and stormwater systems within the power station precinct. These improvements addressed existing challenges, enhancing site accessibility and ensuring robust stormwater management to mitigate potential flooding and erosion.
Through innovative engineering solutions and careful consideration of site-specific challenges, CEMS Consult delivered a resilient and efficient ADF, contributing to the long-term operational success of the Sendou Power Station.
